The lads came back to the office tonight to pick up there new uniform. Although we have been a member of Which? Trustedtraders since 2015 this is the first time we have incorporated there logo into our uniform. We made this decision as in a crowded market place we believe that this logo is something to proudly display as not all who apply will make the grade. It was so good to have all the lads together as often we are all on separate jobs.
Our three layer felt systems come with a ten year written guarantee, we use both torch on and roll and pour methods. For those not looking for a felt system we use Firestone rubber. Which is a cost effective solution that still achieves long lasting results when laid correctly. With all flat roof systems preparation is key.
Our team on the Wembley re-roof enjoying the spring like weather. Next week we have a busy work program - Wembley and Twickenham re-roofs to complete some remedial repairs then on to a commercial flat roof. The office staff have been busy preparing our “news” section for our website featuring lots of new content.
Working in the winter can be harsh, it’s important to make sure you can make watertight anything you strip. Looks like the lads will be having an early one today but after working hard all week who would blame them.

Cold start this morning, scaffolding up and ready to give this roof some TLC. If your roof has signs of degeneration early intervention can prolong its life span. Moss removal should always be carried out by brush and scraper method as jet washing can be to abrasive and cause the tiles become porous. Valleys should be cleared or debris and the mortar in your roofs ridge and hip line should be checked for any signs of wear. Gutters should be cleared of debris and have the union joints checked. Have a maintenance issue feel free to give us a call.
Flat roof completed over in Egham today. Site tidy and rubbished cleared. It’s important to make sure that you use a contractor that either has a waste carriers licence to transport the waste them self or that they use a skip company. We have a waste Carriers licence but also use skip companies depending on the works. Great work on to the next lads!
Feltham reroof chimney pointing, just the top to go. It's always important to add frostproofer in your cement mix during harsh weather and to wait for the morning to heat up a little before pointing commences.
New flat roof starting in Egham. Removing this single layer felt system and replacing with a three layer felt system. The first layer a 2mm polyester torch on, the second layer 4mm polyester plain torch on and the third layer 4.4mm torch on mineral polyester. Check back in towards the end of the week when we will have the finished photos.
Happy hump day! The lads had a frosty start this morning in Feltham, they had a cup of tea and waited for the sun to break through before making the site safe to work. Both Feltham and Ashford re- roofs should be completed this week and scaffolding is already up for the works next week, which is a mixture of repairs and a large flat roof replacement and moss removal to a detached house. With rain forecast this weekend if you need an appointment for a free roof condition survey please feel free to contact us.

Great progress today with the front stripped and felt and battened at the correct gage. It’s important to keep clients as weather tight as possible during the works program ensuring you do not strip more than you can cope with. Our staff worked tirelessly today to get us watertight. Good job lads.
